  • What if I'm a crowded desert Too much pain with little pleasure What if I'm the nicest place you never want to go What if I don't know who I am Will that keep us both from trying To find out and when you have Be sure to let me know {Emilie Autumn}

  • More Alice in Wonderland

    farawayalice

    alicerealclose

The faraway and upclose view of a painting I did for Alice in Wonderland, after watching Syfy's Alice. I am now obsessed with the relationship between the Hatter and Alice, as can be seen in previous pictures

    alicepencil

The pencil sketch of the drawing done on a seperate piece of paper before doing the final painting. Note- there is NO lead pencil marks on the full color picture of Alice and Hatter. It is done COMPLETELY in colored pencil, watercolor and marker (for the words)

  • TWOLHA

To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.

To Write Love On Her Arms Day is a day where any...one can write the word love on their arms, to support those who are fighting against depression and those who are trying to recover.

My contribution to TWOLHA <3 I got everyone in my english class to do it! It was amazing.

  • Fort Hood

    the air is screaming red
    the ground soaked with blue
white stars piercing the hearts of those
    watching at home
    horrified
    terrified
    petrified
    as faceless, nameless numbers
are counted out as the hours draw on
    seven
    ten
    twelve dead
    upwards of thirty injured
    identifiable only
    by the cameo they wear
    that they wore
    with their helmets
    and their guns
    now balanced precariously at memorials
    displayed before words
    prideful and patriotic
    a warning
    meaningless and empty
to the people to whom the dead
    weren't numbers
    but people
    not casualities
    but fathers, sons, cousins, brothers
    robbed of their honor
stripped of even a martyrs death
    in the sick selfishness
    of one

    curled up in home's safety
there is only one number that I dial
    in the face of
    war's casualties:
my sister's voice, silent for months
    crying, breaking
    over in D.C.
    she hadn't heard the news
    and neither had her base
    so many friends from training
    were stationed there
    as a woman who shared
    the colors of the dead
    she was one of the
    brave, the
    proud, and the
    few
who could see the fallen soldiers for what they were:
    people
and in her voice only could I feel the true fear
    the threat to my sister
the red carnationed breast that she risked
    and was a risk
to all those who shared her uniform
    spilling over in violent colors
    from across the sea
    to home

I know a Pretty Rave Girl!

Random pictures time!! This is stuff I've been drawing in class for the last two days... the two different pictures are actually on the same piece of paper!

    angel

This is of a chained angel... you can't see it, but she's chained to a heart and half of the feathers are ripped off of her left wing

    ravedoll1

I dunno I've been thinking about raving alot lately... I havent been to a good one since Caffeine (I go sober, of course) Kinda unseen in this pic is that the flesh of her hands are pierced and she's hung on marionette wire

    ravedoll2

Closeup of the picture. The words say 'RAVE DOLL' and her arm tat says 'P.L.U.R'
